1. Selection of installation location
Away from water sources and humid areas:
When installing a wall-mounted ceramic fan heater, avoid installing it directly above a bathtub, shower area or sink to prevent water vapor or splashing water from directly contacting the machine. It is recommended to be at least 0.6 meters away from the water source. Give priority to a well-ventilated dry location, such as a wall near the middle corner of the bathroom, avoiding areas where windows are directly blown or rain and snow may invade.
Height and tilt angle:
The installation height is recommended to be more than 1.8 meters from the ground to ensure that the warm air is evenly covered and out of reach of children.
The body needs to be fixed horizontally, and the allowable tilt range is usually within 15 degrees to the left and right to avoid affecting the distribution of hot air.
2. Electrical safety and power supply configuration
Dedicated power supply and circuit:
The ceramic fan heater has a high power (usually 1500W~2000W), and needs to use an independent power supply and be equipped with a socket of more than 15A to avoid sharing the circuit with other electrical appliances and causing tripping. When installing a wall-mounted ceramic heater, it must be installed by a registered electrical engineer to ensure reliable grounding and prevent the risk of electric shock.
Waterproof and insulation protection:
Choose products with a waterproof rating of at least IPX2, but even if it is waterproof, avoid direct contact with water. The power cord must be kept away from high temperature or sharp objects, and bending or pulling is prohibited. The wiring must be sealed and moisture-proof.
3. Installation steps and fixing requirements
Wall fixing and bracket use:
Use expansion screws and special hangers (such as support plates and beam structures) to firmly fix and ensure that the load-bearing capacity meets the requirements. The drilling depth must match the length of the expansion tube (such as 36mm), and the screws must be exposed about 8mm for hanging.
Exhaust and pipe connection:
If the heater has a ventilation function, the exhaust pipe must be extended to the outside during installation. The pipe should not be too long, too thin or too bent, otherwise it will affect the exhaust efficiency.
4. Precautions for use and maintenance
Operation safety:
It is prohibited to cover the air outlet or bake flammable items. High temperature surfaces may cause burns. Keep away from flammable objects such as curtains (at least 1 meter). The remote control needs to be stored in a moisture-proof manner, and the battery should be removed when not in use for a long time.
Regular maintenance:
Clean the heating element and air duct dust every 2-3 years. Hot water heaters need to be descaled regularly. Keep the pipes full of water to prevent corrosion during the off-season. When cleaning, turn off the power and wipe with a soft cloth. Do not use chemical solvents or rinse directly.
